Kurashinity staff are friendly,
helpful, and flexible
I have found the Kurashinity
housekeeping staff reliable,
trustworthy and efficient. I like that I
get the same person each time, and
that when substitutes are needed,
they come fully aware of my home
and where everything is kept. They
are friendly, helpful, and flexible
should I have a special need one
week. They communicate clearly in
English, which is a major plus for
me in Japan.

The Customer Centre has always
replied quickly and efficiently to my
questions and schedule changes.
They only send the emails when
needed, and I find every email useful.
Add on services, such as aircon and
stove hood cleaning, have gone well
in general. In the case of any
problem, it was handled logically and
without extra cost to me, both of
which were greatly appreciated.

I’ve been using Kurashinity for a half
year now and have been thrilled with
the difference it has made for me.
The first reason of choosing
Kurashinity was the recommendation
from one of my friends, and also I
used to have a Filipino housekeeper
work for me when I assigned in
Singapore. With my demanding
full-time job, the days just seem to

Kurashinity provides services the
way you want
I have been looking for an English
housekeeping service since I have
arrived in Tokyo. There were several
but I noticed that Kurashinity’s
website was more user friendly. The
information is straight forward and
easy to comprehend. There English
customer support is offered both by
emails and calls. The housekeeping
staff are from Philippines so they
speak English. The service
coordinator on the first visit speaks
English as well, therefore there
were no communication barriers.

The scheduling is also very flexible.
In case I am out of the country, I
have the option to reschedule the
service. Re-scheduling policies are
reasonable as well.
I have a designated staff coming to
my residence to provide the service.
Hence, as she has a full
understanding of my request
including my pet’s favorite snack, I
do not need to repeat everything
what I have instructed. In case I
rescheduled a service, a substitute
housekeeping staff is assigned and
what amazes me is that she has all
the information necessary to provide
the service. Therefore, I am not
worried that my requests are not
done. Kurashinity is an essential
part of my life here in Tokyo!

A friend recommended Kurashinity to

Can you describe the staff that will be assigned to my residence?
Aside from the rigorous job-hiring process,
all of our staff are required to undergo and pass a customized training curriculum before they
are finally selected to come to Japan.
The training focuses not only on housekeeping skills but also on the professionalism required
in the service industry.
Is English communication possible?
During the initial visit, our English-speaking service coordinator together with the assigned professional
housekeeper will be consulting with you on the cleaning areas and the housekeeping tasks you wish to be done.
Our Filipina housekeeper can also communicate in English. Moreover, we have an English customer call
center ready to assist you.
Can I use the service when I am not at home?

【Regular Service】Kurashinity is a service designed to assist working people. Therefore, we cater a
housekeeping service where customers can be away from home while we provide the service.
However, we request the customers to be at home during the initial visit.

【 Spot Service】We request the customers to be at home.

※Storage fee of ¥1,100/month is charged for customers opting for Key-Storage services.

How does your company manage the keys?
During the initial consultation, once you handed your house keys to our service coordinator, we shall be
sending you a “Key-Holding Confirmation Form” online which states that our company will be
managing your spare keys during the service contract period.
How does your company handle damages?
During the delivery of service, we ask customers to keep their valuables such as cash and jewelry.
Nevertheless, in case items are broken due to our staff’s negligence, we are taking out liability insurance
to cover the damages.
What are the characteristics of Filipino staff?
The Philippines, a country with the same "hospitality" as the Japanese, produces high quality housekeepers
worldwide.
Pasona believes that "Filipino housekeepers" are human resources who have both "hospitality" and
"experienced skills", equipped with English skills that allows them to work globally and are capable to
meet the high service quality required in Japan.
What is the payment method?

Currently, we only settle payments by credit card. (Visa , Master , JCB , AMEX , DINERS).
For Spot service, NP Atobarai air is also available.

It is a safe and easy payment method that allows you to pay later at "convenience stores,"
"post offices," "banks," and "LINE Pay."
There is no postpaid fee. The invoice will be mailed after the service is provided, please pay
within 14 days of issuance.

*Note
For NP Atobarai air, the terms and conditions of Net Protections, Inc. is applied. We will provide personal
information within the scope of the service. The maximum usage limit is 300,000 yen (tax included) in total.

What is Smile-Points?

▼ Point System(Smile-Points) For Monthly Subscription Services, in the event that service
cancellations are difficult to reschedule within the same month; Smile-Points is issued for
customers to use on different date.

We will end the holiday transfer services. Instead, Smile-Points will be issued for service dates that fall
on public holidays including Golden Week.

- 1 Point : Equivalent to the number of service hours from the Smile-Point will be issued.
- Point Validity and Expiration :
Within 6 months from the date the Smile-Point was issued.
*The cancelled service date is the Smile-Point issuance date and not the date of notice for cancellation.
- Unit of Use : 1 Point Unit (Cannot be used in installments)

*Smile-Points are not granted for the Year-End and New Year holidays.
*Smile-Points will automatically expire on the service contract termination date even within the
validity period.
※There is no option to reschedule services which were booked with Smile-Points.
Changes or cancellations is not possible after the reservation has been made.
*Customers are responsible for their “Smile-Point” management.
A “My Page” system for each customer will be available from October 2023.
Customers can check accumulated Smile-Points and its expiration date.
Since there is a possibility that Smile-Points may not be utilized within their validity period due to
lack of available service slots.
We recommend customers to use them in a planned manner.

Can I reschedule the service dates or cancel the service?

▼ Rescheduling
For Monthly Subscription Services, rescheduling option is available.
If customers notify us prior to the cut-off time, you may transfer the service on another date provided
that the rescheduled service has the same service duration as the original schedule.
However, the transfer date must be within the same month as the original service date.

In the situations where it is difficult to reschedule the services within in the same month; Smile-Points will
be issued.
* Changes and cancellations on the rescheduled service will be considered as service provided.
* Extensions, additional services and services using Smile-Points are not eligible for rescheduling.

▼ Service Date Cancellation
For Monthly Subscription Services, if customers notify us for a cancellation of a service provision
date until the application deadline (by 12:00 noon on the business day prior to the scheduled service day),
the cancellation request will be accepted, and Smile-Points will be issued.

*Monthly Subscription Fees will not be reduced or refunded due to cancellation.

May I change the work contents even after the contract is signed?
Please contact us by email or phone. We shall cascade your request to the staff, however, in
case service time is not enough, we shall revisit and provide new estimates.
What days and time can I utilize the service?
We provide housekeeping service on Monday – Saturday 9:00 – 18:00.
Customer Center is available on weekdays from 9:00 – 18:00 (call available 10:00-17:00) .
(excluding weekends and public holidays).
In case my service day falls on a holiday, can I still receive the service?

As we are closed on holidays, there will be no services. If the regular plan service date falls on a holiday,
Smile Points will be issued that can be used on a different service day.
Please note that Smile Points are not granted for Year-End and New Year holidays. Learn more about
Smile Points here.
*Information about long holidays will be announced by email and posted on our website in advance.

What is the difference between Regular Service and Spot Service?
"Regular Service" is a routine service that is customized to your lifestyle. Recommended for
double-income households with children, singles, corporate managers, seniors, working from
home individuals, etc. "Spot Service" is a one-time service that can be used when you feel like it.
A convenient service that can be used on special days or when there are arriving guests, before and after
moving, and year end cleaning.
Can you provide services for residences with pets?
During the service, we ask customers to keep their pets in cages. We currently do not offer
pet-walking services or touch your pets.
Can the staff hand-wash delicate clothes such as gym clothes and washable shoes?
Yes, please give instructions on how you want the item to be hand-washed.
